Here are my daily, weekly, and monthly goals for 2025. Since 2019, I have publicly shared my aspirations for the year. What started at an astounding 19 goals for 2019 has now turned to daily, weekly, and monthly habits. These all (loosely) follow my core lived values of create, explore, learn, move, and serve. Events, like graduating from my LIS program, are not listed in goals. I believe those are completely different strivings. However, what is included on this 2025 goals sheet is my word for the year, open-hearted. My intent is to live authentically, positively, and vulnerably. More to come on that, with open-hearted posts published on the 10th of every month.
Here’s other content/goals you’ll see highlighted (and occasionally low-lighted) throughout the year:
Create in 2025:
- Daily: Write 3 pages
- Weekly: Artist date
- Monthly: Poetry slam or perform

- Daily: Practice DuoLingo (so far, Swedish and Spanish)
- Weekly: Research people of color, LGBTQIA+, and/or other marginalized identity artists and authors committed to their craft. This is in support of my forthcoming book, Omit to Commit – it’ll be better with more perspectives, and these will be published on the 20th every month
- Monthly: Visit 1 new-to-me trail
Learn in 2025:
- Daily: Read 1 chapter/article – good for my LIS program, Omit to Commit, or just for fun!
- Weekly: Coffee talk with friends, artists, fellows, and family
- Monthly: Try 1 medium, published monthly on the 30th
Move in 2025:
